Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take my insurance?
Sarah Thabet Physical Therapy & Wellness is considered an “out-of-network” provider. This allows me to treat the “whole person” rather than a diagnostic code. I am able to treat you for as long as you would like, without having to justify medical necessity to an insurance provider. I do accept FSA/HSA.
Do I need a referral to see you?
Vermont is a direct access state. Doctors of Physical Therapy are trained to diagnose and treat impairments found at evaluation as well as refer out to a licensed medical provider if the conditions or concerns found are outside our scope of practice.
Do you accept Medicare/ Medicaid?
Due to the unfortunate state of our medical care system, I am not able to administer medically necessary physical therapy treatment (in the type of quality care I wish to give) to clients with Medicare or Medicaid insurance at this time. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
What is the cancel/ no-show policy?
Please provide 24-hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Your appointment is reserved just for you. Cancellations and No-Shows will incur a fee. Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis.
